Painting I did in 2006 "Vivo con Vino"

Image
One of my old painting I did when I started painting agian. Vivo con Vino (Living with Wine) was painted in 2006 and now I've finally decided to sell it. I love this beautiful painting with grape vines, musical notes, and wine theme. I used lots of colors in this painting and think the creative blend gives the subject movement like it is dancing to music. The painting size: 24x30 arcylic on canvas and stapled on back. Sides are not painted, but it can be painted black or keep it white for framing. Protected with varnish. To phurcase this painting or my others go to Etsy.com  where I have more work listed. or my buy this painting now through this site.

My Five Year Old First Abstract Painting

Image
My daughter loves art. When she was two, she received a drawing board as a gift and has been drawing ever since. Every morning when she gets up, the first thing she does is grab her board and draw while watching cartoon. It has become a ritual, but she enjoys it and I love seeing where her imagination takes her. One of her favorite things to draw are princesses and castles. I guess it's fitting since her name is Jasmine just like Disney's Princess Jasmine. But lately, she has been inspired to paint having seen me work on some of my abstract paintings. She loves experimenting with colors and mixing them together to create colors all by herself such as pink. Her favorite color. Recently, she mixed the color teal all on her own and became very excited at what she accomplished. As a parent, it's wonderful to see your child learning new things and sharing our love of art together. She enjoys painting geometric shapes and creating her own abstract masterpiece. It's tough

My Favorite Picasso work the "Dream" Surrealism Art

Image
My Favorite Picasso work the "Dream" Surrealism Art. When I first saw this painting, I loved it. So when I had my frame shop, TNT Framing at a local mall for three years in the mid to late nineties, I made sure to have the print version of this painting in stock. It was a very popular item as it was sold just about everyday. Some of my own art work is inspired by Picasso's masterpiece. Pablo Ruiz y Picasso , known as Pablo Picasso  (October 25, 1881 – 8 April 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, print maker, ceramicist, and stage designer who spent most of his adult life in France. As one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th centuryhe continued to paint numerous portraits that are regarded as great works of art. A true masterpiece.  Read More on WikiPedia  or just check his work on Picasso.com . You can purchase Museum quality prints there with or without frame and or print on canvas.

Black Rock Art Center

Image
Black Rock Art Center in Germantown, Md. is a great place to appreciate and support works of art from local artists. Most paintings, sketches, and sculptures are displayed monthly in the centers art gallery and are available for purchase for your own personal enjoyment. In addition to showcasing a variety of art work, Black Rock also offers classes to adults and children at a reasonable price. There are classes for beginners to the advance and the instructors there are the nicest people around. Talented in their craft, my daughter's ballet teacher was a former professional ballet dancer who dedicates her time several days a week working with girls of all ages. Other courses provided are piano and painting classes as well as jazz and hip-hop dance classes just to name a few. Depending on the session you sign up for, some classes have special performances in the centers amphitheatre at the end of the semester. First Painting Sold on Ebay

Image
Original Acrylic Abstract Painting of World Economic Chaos  Original Acrylic Abstract Painting of World Economic Chaos 24x30 I recently sold my first painting on Ebay. Painted this year in the summer of 2012, I sold it to a very lucky bidder for $175. I wanted $200 for it, oh well maybe next time. I hate to make another one like it and probably will not. I don't like to make duplicate paintings, I prefer to paint one-of-a-kind pieces in my collection. Hopefully the owner will enjoy my painting as much as I did painting it.
